Legacy Strategies are looking for a Business Development Manager to work with our successful, well respected client in the Wellingborough area!
Full Time | Permanent | Salary up to £60,000 DOE
As a Business Development Manager specialising in Industrial Tunnelling Fans, you will take responsibility for boosting sales growth, creating strategic partnerships and extending market research for their UK based company. Your main point of focus will be seeking out new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with clients and hitting revenue targets in the industrial tunnelling sector.
As a Business Development Manager you will be involved with Business Development, Customer Relationship Management, Sales and Revenue Generation and Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
- Develop and produce effective strategies to explore new markets and expand their customer network.
- Conduct market research to stay connected with the latest industry trends and be able to understand customer needs.
- Be able to actively track your progress and schedule timely follow-ups.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to determine potential threats and opportunities.
- Understand customer requirements and develop customised solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Provide ongoing support, address any customer inquiries, concerns and objections in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications and Key skills:
The ideal candidate will be experienced in Business Development activities in the Civil Engineering industry - preferably Tunnelling or Mining.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the industrial tunnelling, construction, or heavy equipment industry.
- Vital knowledge on industrial tunnelling processes and fan systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Analytical skills to gather market intelligence and identify business opportunities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
