We are hiring a Bid Writer for a client of ours in Belfast to become a crucial member of their team. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in bid writing, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality, persuasive content under tight deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and edit compelling bid proposals that clearly articulate the company’s value proposition and meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, project management, and technical experts, to gather essential information for bids.
- Analyse tender documents and identify key deliverables to ensure all client specifications are met.
- Manage the entire bid process, from initial expression of interest to final submission, ensuring compliance with all deadlines and submission criteria.
- Lead bid strategy meetings to define win themes, key messages, and differentiators.
- Maintain an up-to-date bid library of standard responses, company information, and case studies.
- Ensure all bids are reviewed and approved by senior management prior to submission.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in bid writing, particularly in the construction or engineering sectors.
- Strong knowledge of bid management processes and best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive content.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all bid documents.
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and bid management software.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
